Drive4Free is a digital platform that connects companies needing vehicle transports with drivers who want to travel through Sweden for free. Companies publish jobs when a vehicle needs to be relocated between locations, and registered drivers can sign up to perform the transport in exchange for the trip itself. The solution creates an efficient, cost-optimised flow for both parties and primarily serves leasing, automotive retail and transport businesses — industries where vehicle relocations are part of everyday operations.

The challenge — making the right calls from day one

The team behind Drive4Free had a clear business idea and a strong concept, but needed the right technical partner to turn the vision into a sustainable, scalable platform. The full process — from sign-up and approval to job publishing, expressions of interest, matching and completion — was automated to minimise manual admin. The solution was rounded out with automated notifications, clear role management, secure operations and a stable maintenance setup that makes it easy to evolve the platform as the business grows.

The result — a live platform ready to scale

Drive4Free is now a fully operational platform handling the entire business flow from sign-up to completed transport. The system has created better structure, reduced admin overhead and made it possible to handle more jobs with higher efficiency. The platform is built to grow alongside the business without needing to be rebuilt from scratch. Uplinx remains responsible for operations, support and ongoing development — giving the customer a safe, predictable technical day-to-day without needing internal developer resources. The collaboration is long-term and evolves as the business grows.
